100 Years of the Fair – Exhibit Coordinator/Superintendent
Job Summary: Custer County is seeking an Exhibit Coordinator/Superintendent responsible for the end-to-end management of a special historical display celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Custer County Fair. The exhibition will be in the Home Show Building. This one-time project-based position is established specifically for the 100th Anniversary Fair with responsibilities spanning April 2026 through August 2026.
Compensation: $1,300 Flat Rate (one-time payment upon completion)

Technician – Weed Control District
Job Summary: Perform technical duties in the operation of the county weed control program. This position performs technical work requiring adherence to safety standards in the handling and use of hazardous chemicals. Must be accurate in mixing and applying pesticides and herbicides. Work is generally outdoors and may be performed in adverse weather conditions. This position also requires work flexible hours. This is a temporary position and terminates at the end of the spray season.
Starting Wage: $18.00/hour starting
